ARLINGTON SCHEDULES BLACKHAWKS LEGENDS DAY SEPT. 12

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Sept. 3, 2009) – Hall-of-Fame hockey players Bobby Hull and Denis Savard will be on hand signing autographs Saturday, Sept. 12 when Arlington Park presents “Blackhawks Legends Day.”

Hull and Savard will hold separate autograph signings from Noon until 2 pm in the Paddock area and fans are encouraged to arrive as soon as the gates open at 11:15 am to secure a wristband to ensure they get an autograph.

The first 250 Guests to check in at the West Paddock autograph table will receive a wristband and be guaranteed the opportunity to meet Hull and receive one autograph. After the 250 wrist bands have been dispersed, other guests are welcome to wait in line, however, the autograph session will end promptly at 2 pm. Guests without wristbands will not be guaranteed autographs.

The first 350 Guests to check-in at the East Paddock autograph table will be will receive a wristband and be guaranteed the opportunity to meet Savard and receive one autograph. After the 350 wrist bands have been dispersed, other guests are welcome to wait in line, however, the autograph session will end promptly at 2 pm. Guests without wristbands will not be guaranteed autographs.

It should be noted that only the following items will be permitted into Arlington Park to be autographed: flats, wearables (t-shirts, jerseys, hats) and pucks. For the safety of fans as well as participants in the races, hockey sticks and equipment of any kind are not permitted inside Arlington Park.

In addition, Tommy Hawk and the Blackhawks Street Team will be on hand to play various games and pass out prizes!

Appearances by current team members are subject to availability. The team’s training camp begins the same weekend.

Earlier this year, Arlington Park was a presenting sponsor for “Glenn Hall Heritage Night” during a Blackhawks home game at the United Center.
