Contact: David Zenner STATEMENT FROM MATTHEW STRAIGHT(Aug. 27, 2009) – Jockey Matthew Straight, twin brother of apprentice jockey Michael Straight who was injured in a Wednesday incident at Arlington Park, has issued the following statement regarding the condition of his brother. “As of Noon (central time) today, Mike is stable and is scheduled to undergo surgery later this afternoon. The surgery is expected to last several hours. We will issue a further update Friday morning.”
