$17,339 Already in the Pool; $50,000 Pool Estimated for Sunday

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (May 9, 2009) – There will be a $17,339 carryover into Sunday’s Early Pick Four pool at Arlington Park. For the first time this season, Arlington’s Pick Four carryover rule will come into play. Since there were no perfect tickets on Saturday’s Early Pick Four, those who had three of four correct received a consolation payoff of $20.80 on a $1 ticket.

Saturday’s Early Pick Four winners were:

2nd Race -- #3 Caller A Classic ($19.00)
3rd Race -- #4 Bruce Carl ($7.40)
4th Race -- #7 Frances Slam ($25.80)
5th Race -- #7 Wild Expectations ($11.20)

With a carryover of $17,339 already in the pool, Sunday’s Early Pick Four pool is estimated to reach $50,000.

Arlington’s Early Pick Four covers races 2 through 5. First post on Sunday is 1 pm. (CDT). Post time for the day’s second race, the first leg of the Early Pick Four, is scheduled for 1:28 pm.
