Hawthorne Replay Show to Air Daily on TVG

In addition to a live broadcast of most of Hawthorne’s racing schedule (all others to be televised on a short delay), TVG will also be the home to a 30 minutes replay show of the day’s races. The show will be hosted by Jim Miller, Katie Mikolay and Mitch Demick, and can be seen following the live card.

Full Fields for Opening Day Card

Opening day entries for the Hawthorne Fall meet have closed with 93 horses scheduled to race on Friday’s nine race card. Purses will total $152,500 including the day’s feature race, a $32,000 allowance optional claiming event for non-winners of three races other than maiden, claiming, or starter. The final race of the day is scheduled to be the first grass race of the fall campaign.

Hawthorne Race Course will begin its Fall/Winter Thoroughbred meet on Friday, September 26, 2008 and continue through January 11, 2009. Post time on Fridays through November 28 will be at 2:35 pm central time. Post time on all other cards will be 1:35 pm central time. Dark days will be Mondays and Tuesdays. We are located at 3501 S.
