Summer Survivor Contest at Hawthorne Race Course

Stickney, IL – Starting on Saturday, June 28, Hawthorne Race Course will off a free online elimination-style contest for its summer harness meet.

The object of the contest will be to pick one horse every racing evening to finish in the money….THAT SIMPLE!!

The contest is available to anyone who registers before 6:50 pm central time this coming Saturday.

It is a winner-take-all event, and the grand prize will be $1,000.

Hawthorne Race Course’s Summer harness meet paces from Tuesday June 24 and continues through August 7. Live racing will be conducted Tuesday through Sunday, first post 7:20 pm, except Sunday, first post 6:30 pm. Thoroughbreds return on September 26, and race until the end of the year.
