Balmoral Helps Pets Find a Home

Spike
Spike of the South Suburban Humane Society was one of the animals looking for a home at Balmoral's Adopt a Pet Night.
On Saturday, May 12, Balmoral Park held the first ever Adopt a Pet Night at the Racetrack, located in Crete, Il.

The event was run in conjunction with The South Suburban Humane Society and part of Be Kind to Animals Week that ended on May 10.

Everyone
Members of the South Suburban Humane Society are interviewed in the Balmoral Park winner circle during Balmoral's Adopt a Pet Night.
Fans were invited to adopt one of many pets brought out by the S.S.H.S. (South Suburban Humane Society). The animals were available to take home that night after the associated costs were paid and an interview by the Humane Society was conducted.

Seven animals in all were adopted by the Balmoral fans on Saturday. In addition to taking home a loving pet, Balmoral Park supplied the new pet owners with a $50 dining room certificate for making the adoption.

For those interested in adopting one the S.S.H.S. beautiful pets, you can see all animals on-line at www.sshspets.org or visit the shelter located at 1103 West End Ave. Chicago Heights, IL 60411.
