HANDICAPPERS MCMANNIS, KRISTUFEK AND LEVING TO CONDUCT BREEDERS’ CUP SEMINAR AT TRACKSIDE ARLINGTON PARK ON OCT. 23

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Oct. 14, 2008) – Chicago Sun Times handicapper M. Scott McMannis, Daily Herald and horseplayerpro.com handicapper Joe Kristufek and local horse racing expert Steve Leving will conduct a free Breeders’ Cup seminar at Trackside Arlington Park on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 7 pm until 10 pm.

McMannis, Kristufek and Leving will take an in-depth look at the 14 races that comprise this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships to be held on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. McMannis and Leving will host the seminar from Trackside Arlington Park while Kristufek will participate by phone from Santa Anita where he will be serving as a member of Breeders’ Cup Notes Team.

All three will offer handicapping angles and suggested wagers for the individual races as well as the $3 million guaranteed Ultra Pick Six offered on the Saturday card. In addition, they will take questions from the audience.

Each fan in attendance will receive a free Breeders’ Cup Winner’s Card and Morning Works report courtesy of Horseplayerpro.com as well as a complimentary copy of the Breeders’ Cup edition of HorsePlayer magazine and a complimentary copy of Daily Racing Form’s Breeders’ Cup advance edition while supplies last.

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 98-day meet in 2009 from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, Sept. 27.
