Contact: David Zenner EARLY PICK FOUR CARRYOVER FOR THURSDAY, MAY 15$8,788 Already in the Pool; $25,000 Pool Estimated for ThursdayARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (May 11, 2008) – There will be a $8,788 carryover into Thursday’s Early Pick Four pool at Arlington Park. For the first time this season, Arlington’s Pick Four carryover rule will come into play. Since there were no perfect tickets on Sunday’s Early Pick Four, those who had three of four correct received a consolation payoff of $8.20 on a $1 ticket. Sunday’s Early Pick Four winners were: 2nd Race -- #3 Gold Spike ($11.40) With a carryover of $8,788 already in the pool, Thursday’s Early Pick Four pool is estimated to reach $25,000. Arlington’s Early Pick Four covers races 2 through 5. First post on Thursday is 1:20 pm (CDT). Post time for the day’s second race, the first leg of the Early Pick Four, is scheduled for 1:52 pm. Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 96-day meet in 2008 from Friday, May 2 through Sunday, Sept. 21.
