Contact: David Zenner HANDICAPPER KRISTUFEK TO APPEAR AT TRACKSIDE OTB LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE WINTER AND SPRINGARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Jan. 18, 2008) – Daily Herald handicapper and Arlington Park odds maker Joe Kristufek will be on hand “talking horses” at Trackside OTB locations on selected weekend days during the first half of 2008. This will be the second such OTB tour for Kristufek, the leading public handicapper in money won seven of the last eight Arlington Park meets. Kristufek will be available to answer questions and help patrons fine tune their handicapping skills in a casual environment. “I enjoyed getting out to the Trackside OTBs last fall and sharing handicapping theories and ideas with fans of all levels, particularly in a casual, interactive setting,” Kristufek said. “With the road to this year’s Kentucky Derby underway, I'm particularly looking forward to spending time with people who love horseracing and talk about the major Derby preps.” The tour of Trackside OTBs begins next weekend with an appearance at Trackside McHenry located inside Nicolino’s Restaurant at 621 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, on Saturday, January 26 from 12:30 pm until 4:30 pm. The complete tour schedule follows: Saturday, Jan. 26 Trackside McHenry 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm Kristufek’s May 1 appearance at Trackside Arlington Park will be a special seminar handicapping the Grade I Kentucky Oaks and the Grade I Kentucky Derby, presented by Yum! Brands, and will feature additional guest handicappers. In addition, Kristufek and his guests will preview the 2008 Arlington Park season, which starts the following day.
