BIG PICK 5 POOL EXPECTED AT BALMORAL TONIGHT!

Fans at Balmoral Park and throughout the in-state and out-of-state simulcasting network are in for a double dose of excitement tonight thanks in part to the usual Wednesday reduced take-out and a carryover in the nightly Pick 5 wager.

The Pick 5 was not hit on Tuesday night so a carryover of $18,515 will be added to the jackpot this evening. Coupled with the fact that Wednesday’s Pick 5 pool tends to be larger than most nights, thanks in part to a reduced take-out of only 15%, Balmoral Park is estimating tonight’s Pick 5 pool to be in excess of $50,000.

The Pick 5, which starts in race seven, has an approximate post time of 9:15 p.m. (central). First post for the Wednesday card is 7:20 p.m. (central).

Just a reminder to fans as well there will be no Bal-Cal Pick 4 this evening because Cal Expo is “dark.” The ever-popular $25,000 guaranteed wager will return on Wednesday, May 30 with a carryover of $15,403. With that money added to the usual Bal-Cal Pick 4 pool next week’s Bal-Cal could be worth in excess of $65,000.
