ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (June 17, 2007) – Kenneth L. & Sarah K. Ramsey’s Storm Rolling In made a three-wide move at the top of the lane and gamely held off the advance of Dyna Slam to win the $46,650 Your Ladyship Stakes by a nose before a Father’s Day crowd of 23,884 at Arlington Park. Jesse Campbell was aboard the daughter of Catienus who covered the seven furlongs over Polytrack in 1:24.41.

“That was a heck of a race,” said Campbell moments after his mount was shown to be the winner in a head-bob. “I went after Chris (jockey Emigh aboard 3-5 favorite Pretty Jenny) because I thought she was the one to beat, then when James (jockey Graham astride Dyna Slam) came to me, both fillies really were game to the wire.”

Trained by Ronny Werner, the Illinois-bred 4-year-old filly was making just her second start of the season after finishing a non-threatening ninth in open company in her seasonal debut. Sunday’s win was her fourth in 15 starts overall and the $27,990 winner’s share of the purse pushed her earnings into six digits at $106,882.

Sent off as the longest shot in the board in the field of five Prairie State distaffers, Storm Rolling In paid $22.40, $7.60 and $4.20. Dyna Slam returned $3.80 and $3.60. It was a length and quarter back to third-place finisher Magnetic Miss, who paid $4.

Pretty Jenny, the 4-5 favorite, and Denoun N Deverb completed the order of finish.
