ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Oct. 15, 2007) – Daily Herald handicapper and Arlington Park odds maker Joe Kristufek, local horse racing expert Steve Leving and “high strike” trainer Larry Rivelli will conduct a free Breeders’ Cup handicapping seminar at Trackside Arlington Park on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Leving and Rivelli will host the seminar from Trackside, while Kristufek will participate from Monmouth Park where he is covering this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships, which will be held for the first time over two days: Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27.

The three experts will take an in-depth look at the field for all 11 Breeders’ Cup races. For the first time, three Breeders’ Cup contests will be run Friday with the remaining eight Breeders’ Cup events raced Saturday. All three analysts will offer handicapping angles and suggested wagers for the races as well as the $3 million Breeders’ Cup Ultra Pick 6 that covers the final six Breeders’ Cup events on Saturday.

All attendees will receive a free copy of Daily Racing Form’s Breeders’ Cup Special Edition that will feature complete past performances for all of the horses pre-entered in this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 97-day meet in 2008 from Friday, May 2 through Sunday, Sept. 21.
