ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (July 4, 2007) – With two victories in the six-race series worth a total of $20.60, “All Other Jockeys” was the winning bet in Arlington Park’s Jockey Challenge Wager. “All Other Jockeys,” listed as program number 14 in the wager, was sent off at odds of 7-2 and returned $9.80. There was only win wagering in the Jockey Challenge Wager.

The innovative wager required bettors to select the jockey that would accumulate the highest combined win payouts during Wednesday’s fourth through ninth races. The number of winning mounts during the sequence was inconsequential – only combined win payouts mattered. Arlington Park offered wagering on 13 individual jockeys and a 14th option consisting of all other riders.

The winners of the six races included in the Jockey Challenge Wager, riders and payoffs were:

Race 4 – #5 – Royal Flyer (Earlie Fires, $13.40)
Race 5 – #8 – Mad Majesty (James Graham, $12.20)
Race 6 – #1 – Past the Point (E. T. Baird, $3.80)
Race 7 – #6 – Salt Syn (Eduardo Perez*, $7.40)
Race 8 – #1 – Mr. Soul (Jesse Lantz*, $13.20)
Race 9 – #7 – Always First (Robby Albarado, $5.40)

* - denotes jockey part of the “all other jockeys” wagering interest

The total pool on the Jockey Challenge Wager was $5,548.
