HANDICAPPERS KRISTUFEK, HERSH AND LEVING TO CONDUCT KENTUCKY DERBY SEMINAR AT TRACKSIDE ARLINGTON PARK ON MAY 3

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 24, 2007) – Daily Herald handicapper Joe Kristufek, Daily Racing Form writer and handicapper Marcus Hersh and local horse racing expert Steve Leving will conduct a free Kentucky Derby seminar at Trackside Arlington Park on Thursday, May 3, from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Kristufek, Hersh and Leving will take an in-depth look at the field for this year’s Grade I Kentucky Derby, presented by Yum! Brands, which will be run Saturday, May 5, and its sister race, the Grade I Kentucky Oaks, which will be run Friday, May 4. All three will offer handicapping angles and suggested wagers for both races as well as the special Oaks-Derby Double wager that combines the two races.

In addition, the three handicappers will take a look at the opening weekend races at Arlington Park and will offer advice for handicapping races on Arlington’s new state-of-the-art Polytrack surface. Arlington Park’s 94-day season begins on Friday, May 4 and will continue through Sunday, Sept. 16.

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 94-day meet in 2007 from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, Sept. 16.
