JOCKEY CHALLENGE BET AND WEEKLY GUARANTEED PICK 6 AMONG NEW WAGERS AT ARLINGTON PARK FOR 2007 SEASON

$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 6 Pool Offered Every Saturday

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 23, 2007) – Arlington Park, which celebrates both its 80th anniversary and the 25th running of the Grade I Arlington Million in 2007, has several new wagers and improvements to existing wagers on tap for its 2007 season, which begins on Friday, May 4, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 16.

The most innovative bet that Arlington Park will offer in 2007 is the Jockey Challenge wager, which will be offered five times during the season – Memorial Day, Fathers Day, 4th of July, Million Day, and Labor Day – and involves selecting the jockey that will accumulate the highest total win payouts for the designated races. For example, if 2006 Arlington Park riding champ Chris Emigh rides three winners paying $3, $4.60 and $8 for a total of $15.60 in the sequence of races that comprise the wager (usually races 3-8), but Eusebio Razo Jr. rides two winners returning $10.20 and $9.60 for a total of $19.80, those bettors who wagered on Razo will have a winning ticket.

Also in 2007, for the first time since the track re-opened in 2000, Arlington Park will offer a regularly scheduled Pick 6 wager. The bet will be offered with a $50,000 gross pool guaranteed to those who correctly pick six of six every Saturday on the final six races of the day, beginning Saturday, May 5.

In the event there is no ticket sold which designates the six official winners of the Pick Six races, 25% of the net pool will be distributed to the holders of the tickets that correctly pick the most official winners, and 75% of the net Pick Six Pool will be carried over to the next week.

Even when someone correctly picks a winner in all six races, 25% of the net Pick Six pool will be distributed to the holders of the tickets that correctly pick 5 of 6 official winners and 75% of the net Pick Six Pool will be distributed to the holders of the tickets that correctly picked all 6 winners.

Another twist to the Arlington Park wagering lineup this season is addition of carryover pools to the track’s Pick Four wagers. If no bettor correctly selects the winning Pick Four combination, 75% of the pool will be carried over to the next day’s corresponding Pick Four pool (i.e. the Early Pick Four will carryover to the next day’s Early Pick Four and the Late Pick Four will carryover to the next day’s Late Pick Four).

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 94-day meet in 2007 from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, Sept. 16. Arlington Park, whose parent company is Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN), also operates nine off-track, simulcast-wagering facilities: Trackside Arlington Park (Arlington Heights), Trackside Chicago, Trackside Quad City Downs (East Moline), Trackside Rockford, Trackside Waukegan, Fat Sam’s Bar & Grill featuring Trackside OTB in Lockport, Lucky’s featuring Trackside OTB in South Elgin, Nicolino’s featuring Trackside OTB in McHenry and The Inferno featuring Trackside OTB in South Beloit.
