Don’t forget, if you were unable to qualify in our three satellites, the only way to participate in Sunday’s $10,000 Club Hawthorne Invitational is by boosting your rewards card points total over the 5,000-point threshold for the meet by the conclusion of racing Saturday. Only points earned during night time racing May 6 through June 10 will be considered.

To check your point total, visit the Club Hawthorne redemption center on the first floor of the grandstand, or call 708-780-3733.

Those who have already qualified through Hawthorne’s three open satellite tournaments will receive an email or a phone call in the coming days. Club Hawthorne point qualifiers will receive an official invitation from John Walsh.

The prize pool for Sunday’s Club Hawthorne Invitational is estimated at $10,000 based on 200 entrants.

Hawthorne’s spring 2006 Standardbred meet runs May 6 through June 17 with live racing six days per week – Tuesday through Sunday. Post time is 7:20 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Hawthorne’s fall 2006 Thoroughbred meet runs September 15 through December 31 with live racing five days per week: Wednesday through Sunday. Post time is 1:10 p.m.

Hawthorne’s spring 2006 Thoroughbred meet ran February 24 through May 2.
