Depravedhedonist Captures Featured Pace at Hawthorne

Andy Miller guided Depravedhedonist to a one length victory over Fox Valley Dante in the featured $15,000 claiming pace at Hawthorne on Tuesday evening.

It was Miller’s first victory of the Hawthorne season as he spent the weekend competing at The Meadowlands. Miller waited patiently with the Monique Bernardi trainee and used a :26.4 final panel to rally from 6th at the top of the lane to register the 1:53.1 score.

It was the second victory of the season for the 5 year old gelded son of Pacific Rocket and pushed his lifetime earnings to just over $69,000.

Hawthorne’s spring 2006 Standardbred meet runs May 6 through June 17 with live racing six days per week: Tuesday through Sunday. Post time is 7:20 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, and opening day, Saturday May 6 (special early post).

Hawthorne’s fall 2006 Thoroughbred meet runs September 15 through December 31 with live racing five days per week: Wednesday through Sunday. Post time is 1:10 p.m.

Hawthorne’s spring 2006 Thoroughbred meet ran February 24 through May 2.
