Horsin' Around TV -- Programming Schedule Attention Handicappers! Feasting on Stakes is back, and this time we've added a little International spice to the contest. This FREE contest is brought to you by Brisnet.com, Arlington Park and DAK Racing. It employs horseplayers to take their best shot at all three of Arlington's Grade I Stakes to be run on Saturday, August 13: the Arlington Million, the Beverly D. and the Secretariat. FREE Festival past performances -- courtesy of BRISNET -- coming SOON. THE RULES: Contestants are asked to choose three horses for each of the three International Festival of racing events -- A TOP choice, a SECOND choice and an ALTERNATE choice -- for the Arlington Million, the Beverly D. and the Secretariat. Players will earn points, or dollar figures, if either one, or both of their top two horses hit the board by adding up what each individual horse pays to win, place and show; but there's also an Exacta Twist. If the player's horses run first and second in ORDER, add that exacta payoff to the overall score. If the second choice wins and the first choice runs second, the player will be awarded HALF the exacta payoff. The alternate choice will ONLY be used if one of your top two choices scratch. If your top choice is declared out of the race, your second choice will slide into that spot, and your alternate will become your second choice. If your second choice scratches, your alternate becomes the replacement. If more that one of your horses scratch in an individual race, points will be lost, so it is suggested that you wait as long as possible before sending in your entry. There will no be NO exceptions made to this rule. The player with the highest combined total at the conclusion of all three Festival races WINS. In case of ties, drawings will be held to determine placements. E-mail us your selections at contest@dakracing.com BEFORE 2 p.m. (CST) on Saturday, August 13, 2005 (Arlington Million Day). Entries received after that time will not be considered. Validity of entries will be determined by DAK Racing personnel, and all decisions will be FINAL.
