NICOLE'S DREAM WINS J J'SDREAM STAKES

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (July 24, 2005) -- Turf sprint specialist Nicole's Dream won her third straight grass dash and her fourth such race of the season when she captured the $47,250 J J'sdream Stakes by 5 lengths on Sunday at Arlington Park.

Ridden by E. T. Baird, the Larry Rivelli-trained daughter of Northern Trend seemed undaunted by the 100-degree temperature and she was never headed in the five-furlong race, getting the distance in 56.41 seconds, only 5/100 off the course record, while carrying 128 pounds under the allowance conditions of the race.

The J J'sdream was the seventh victory in 12 trips over the Arlington turf course for the Dare To Dream Stables colorbearer and the win improved her overall record to 19 wins from 39 starts. She earned $28,350 to push her bankroll to $532,646.

Dharma's Girl was second in the field of five. It was another half-length back to Rich City Girl. Glitterbdancing and No Llores Catita completed the order of finish.

A prohibitive favorite at odds of 3-10, Nicole's Dream paid $2.60, $2.10 and $2.10. Dharma Girl returned $5.40 and $2.80. Rich City Girl paid $2.20.
