One Hour Super Night Special to Air Saturday, September 18
Early Air Time of 10 a.m. -- Super Night Finals Analyzed; Arlington meet wraps up
This Saturday, September 18, a special one-hour edition of Horsin' Around TV will air on Fox Sports Net Chicago at an early start time of 10 a.m . The show's first run remains at 5:30 a.m. Portions of the program can also be seen prior to first post at each host track (11:25 a.m. at Arlington, and 6 p.m. at Balmoral), and across the Illinois simulcast network.
Joe Kristufek and Mike Antoniades will provide in depth analysis of all eight Super Night Finals from Balmoral Park . On the Thoroughbred side, Dave "The Maven" Gutfreund and Mike Costanzo will examine the three graded stakes to be run at Arlington Park this weekend, and look back at the top ten highlights of Chicago 's summer Thoroughbred season.
In addition, award winning features producer Liane Davis provides a special look at horse adoption.
With $1.5 million in combined purses offered, Super Night at Balmoral is the richest harness card run in the state of Illinois . Arlington concludes their season with a trio of graded stakes: The $200,000 Pucker Up on Saturday, followed by the $200,000 Arlington-Washington Breeders' Cup Futurity (G3) & the $100,000 Arlington-Washington Lassie on closing day Sunday.
