All the majesty and musculature of the legendary racehorse is vividly depicted by the award-winning equine artist. The masterfully rendered portrait of the great Triple Crown champion was painted from sketches and photographs taken by Mr. Pauly during his visit to Claiborne Farms in 1983...a fitting tribute to the greatest racehorse that ever lived.

Since 1978, Thomas Allen Pauly has portrayed some of the finest horses, jockeys, trainers and owners in the country. Working primarily in oils and watercolors, Pauly travels extensively throughout the world to observe his subjects. His internationally acclaimed artwork is widely collected by the racing elite. Pauly's paintings have appeared on the covers of many international publications including a daily column for the Saratoga Special Newspaper.
