In fact, only one winner, Grass Creek ($6.40) paid less than $10.00. JOCKS RACE UNCHANGED Neither Shane Laviolette nor Randy Meier were able to find their way to the winner's circle on Saturday. Laviolette leads by two with three days left. However, Meier didn't accept any mounts for Monday or Tuesday. TRAINER'S RACE STATIC The race for the trainer's title went relatively unchanged Saturday with the exception of a win by Michael Reavis. He took the seventh with Sure As Shipp ($12.40), moving him into a tie for third with Jere R. Smith Sr. Tom Tomillo leads all trainers, Ron Goodridge is second. CAMPBELL SCORES TWICE Jockey Jesse Campbell had a pair of winners Saturday. He took the second with Latin Bound ($48.20) and the eighth with Fun Sand Surf ($93.40). Nice day! LOPEZ WINS TWO Uriel Lopez had a couple of winners Saturday. He won the third with An Uprising ($71.80) and the ninth with Eagle Reigns ($36.40). ### |
