Tic N Tin, owned and trained by Ron Brandenburg, was placed first through disqualification in Sunday's Colonel Powell Stakes. Tic N Tin led for all but the last few yards before Willowbrook Lane split horses late to post a half-length victory. However, Shane Laviolette, the jockey of Tic N Tin filed an objection stating that Willowbrook Lane, when making his way through between Tic N Tin and Magic Doe, had run into the hindquarters of Tic N Tin, causing him to lose his action. The stewards upheld that objection.
