Riding Triple

E. T Baird scored with a riding triple on Thursday. He started off in the first race aboard She Goes West ($4.20), followed by a win aboard Fred Of Gold, fifth ($12.80), and got back into the winner's circle with Truelamar ($15.60) in the sixth.

Training Double

Trainer Jere R. Smith Sr. won two on Thursday's card. She Goes West ($4.20), first race, gave him his first winner of the day and he followed that up with Fred Of Gold ($12.80) in the fifth. Both winners were ridden by E. T. Baird.
