Hawthorne to Open House to Harness Horsemen

STICKNEY, IL – In an effort to dispel any ambiguity surrounding Suburban Downs attempt to attain a standard-bred meet at Hawthorne Race Course, Hawthorne management will be hosting an open house on Wednesday August 8 to attend to any and all inquiries in regard to corrections made from previous horsemen's concerns.

The open house will take place in the Turf Club from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with Hawthorne management and staff on hand to answer questions and provide tours of the facility.

Hawthorne's Director of Operations, Thomas F. Carey III has provided this open invitation, "I invite any and all interested harness enthusiasts to come out to Hawthorne Race Course to evidence Hawthorne Race Course and the Carey's commitment to harness racing in the state of Illinois."
