ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. --- James Orr Jr., Timothy Muckler and Corey Lanerie have been named Arlington International Racecourse's Owner, Trainer and Jockey of the Month, respectively, for September.

During the period from Sept. 1 through Sept. 24, James Orr sent seven horses to the post, winning with three of them topped by Associate's score in a $48,000 allowance race on Sept. 4. Also competing in his colors was Dare She Goes, who finished second in the $75,000 Top Flight Stakes on Sept. 9 and races in Saturday's $100,000 Arlington-Washington Lassie.

Trainer Tim Muckler won at a 38 percent clip during the voting period, saddling 13 horses while tallying five times and finishing second with two other starters. For the meet, Muckler-trained horses have won at a solid 18 percent rate and have finished in the money nearly 50 percent of the time.

Corey Lanerie won 14 races from 66 mounts during the voting period, highlighted by two riding doubles and a Sept. 8 hat trick. Lanerie has been a solid top-five performer all season long and is currently in a battle for third-place in the standings with Chris Emigh. A strong final week could propel Lanerie past Alfredo Juarez Jr. into the runner-up spot behind leading rider Mark Guidry.

Orr, Muckler and Lanerie will be honored in separate winner's circle ceremonies Friday at the Chicago area racetrack and each will receive a $100 gift certificate from Bob Chinn's Crab House in Wheeling, Ill.
