DAILY RACING FORM TO CONDUCT BREEDERS' CUP ADVANCE EDITION HANDICAPPING SEMINAR AT ARLINGTON ON SATURDAY, OCT. 20

New York, NY (October 15, 2001) -- Chicago area horse racing fans will receive an up-to-date, detailed preview of the October 27th Breeders' Cup at Belmont Park when Daily Racing Form presents a special Breeders' Cup Advance Edition handicapping seminar at Arlington Park on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Noon.

Hosted by Marcus Hersh, Daily Racing Form's Midwest correspondent, and Dave Surico, the Chicago Tribune's turf writer, the informative 45-minute seminar will take place at the Starting Gate Theatre. Hersh will provide in-depth analysis of each of the eight Breeders' Cup races, as well as offering handicapping insight and angles.

To supplement handicapping efforts, the Daily Racing Form's annual Breeders' Cup Advance Edition, a must read for all serious handicappers, will be distributed free to all attendees, while supplies last. The Advance Edition offers the earliest printing of past performances for all horses pre-entered into the 2001 Breeders' Cup and is available at newsstands, beginning on Thursday, October 18. DRF's online subscribers and visitors will have access to the product a day earlier, Oct. 17, via drf.com, beginning at Noon.

In addition to past performances, the Advance Edition includes Beyer Speed Figures, TimeForm ratings (the European rating system for all races run in Britain, Ireland, France, and UAE), Trainer Form, Tomlinson Ratings, and the earliest morning line and graded handicap by DRF's national handicapper, Mike Watchmaker.
